Update to fix the Facebook login crash didnt work! Still wont let me sign on.

Cant check status nor group. Very limited app

LOVE Elfster- HATE this app. Crashes constantly, you when on the app can only shop at around 20 stores you cant search for them, gets stuck on pages and wont scroll and wont budge, editing wishlist items doesnt let you change every detail only about 3 of them... Buggy and not thought out.

(12/16/2014, 9:40PM) So I sent an email to support who responded very quickly. Essentially gift exchanges and wish lists are still manageable, but you have to get through some unexplained, oddly set up, views before you even have the options. So I will increase my rating for now (though its only based on my initial experience with the app) until I have a chance to use it more. (12/16/2014, 9:00PM) Wow, I didnt think they could make this app any worse. Clearly not using native controls; implementation of custom controls not explained AT ALL; not able to view previously created exchanges or wish lists. At least on the previous version you could manage these two things. I dont want to be to harsh because the app is free and looks as though its maintained by 1 person (not a team of people). In any case, please add back functionality, use controls people understand (or at least provide info on how to use custom controls). For the app shopper: dont waste your time downloading this version, go to their mobile site.

I still cant login with Facebook option. I have to use online version of Elfster.

We ended up just putting names in a hat and drawing them out ourselves! This app was just a big pain in the **~#!

Will not let me successfully save a Wishlist.

Ok so first ill start with the pros pros: The in app search feature is very nice along with the easy to use and inviting user interface. You can also add people who also have the app to share your wish list with. My only complaints with this app would be that I wish there was a way to keep track of the cost of the items on your wish list in addition to making it possible to send your wish list to the emails of others without worrying about whether or not the have the app. Ill adjust my rating accordingly.

We used this app last Xmas for our family secret Santa and we loved it however just went to the app for the first time sense then and I feel like its missing things. I cant add or edit my friends. I cant edit my groups. This is something you should be able to do on an app. I feel like it was on there before. Correct me if Im wrong but this needs updating.

My family used this app last year for wish lists, but it seems super buggy this year. Its missing basic functions like creating groups of friends (which it prompts me to do when I create a private list...but I cant!) and creating my own wishes (I can only scan or search for existing items created by other people). I cant even find the button to create a new list any more after the first attempt failed because I couldnt share with any selected friends. Please fix before the holidays!

A group Im in on Facebook is user Elfster this year for secret Santa and it would be a lot more helpful if there was a filter option. A lot of secret Santas have a purchase min/max so if you could set the dollar amount on your searches that would help a lot.

Cant get beyond the log in screen - get a long error message when trying to log in with Facebook.

Trying to log in through Facebook and I get an error. Tried through email as well and nothing. I used it last year with no problems.

My family used this last year and we all have lists up for this year through the desktop. Every time I try to sign in through Facebook I get a long error message.

Doesnt sync with the website

My family has been using Elfster for 5 yrs. never used the mobile app. Useless, because I cannot access my existing family gift exchange group....

I have no trouble accessing the website but the App keeps showing an error for FB login. I have even reinstalled but no luck. Not useable!

You can only add items found from the shop. On the full website you can add items using urls.

Seriously this app is horrible. I give it two stars because the layout is pretty and the app LOOKS like it would work well. Outside of "Failed" errors trying to add a wish list with all default options selected, there seems to be no explanation of how to use this app. You try something that seems to make sense and then your hand gets slapped like "youre an outfit for trying that" without the app pointing you in the right direction. Devs can certainly do better than this. I hope.
